As a native to the RGV, Dr. Zarate, OD is proud to be back in his home region providing complete eyecare to the city of Mission and the surrounding areas. Dr. Zarate, OD obtained his undergraduate and doctorate degrees from University of The Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX before returning home. Over the years he has crafted his skillset to be able to offer a full range of eyecare services for pediatrics, adults and geriatric patients. From simple vision care to the complexities of ocular diseases and corneal ectasias that require specialty lenses, don’t hesitate to ask how he can help.

Dr. Eddy Sidra was raised in Canada and attended the University of Alberta (UAlberta) for his undergraduate degree. He completed his Doctorate of Optometry degree at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Sidra provides comprehensive wellness eye exams, as well as diagnosis and management for conditions including glaucoma, retinal diseases, dry eye, diabetes, cataracts, and many others. He also co-manages surgical cases such as LASIK, ICL, cataracts, and various other surgical procedures.
